If you live in an area where the water quality isn't fully dissolving your powdered laundry detergent, we recommend following the same instructions as other powdered brands: dissolve in water first. This is only necessary if you have issues with your water quality.

I considered buying this since its launch, and finally gave in. I have been so frustrated with tide pods lately, as the casing doesn’t fully dissolve about 75% of the time (I wash my clothes in cold water), and I find bits of the casing all over my clothes! I thought this would be a great solution to that problem. Plus, I thought using a hefty dose when washing my linens and bedding would leave my beloved, intoxicating, 1989 scent lingering for days!
